Question concerning Concealed carry as brought up in "The Brave One."?

I had to repost this question as there are some challenged minds out there... This is the only gun section we can use on yahoo and the movie "The Brave One" raises some important issues of Concealed Carry, general gun laws and self defense.

Anybody else see this movie? What did you think?

1. She couldn't purchase the firearm due to the 30 day wait restriction... (well intentioned gun law hurting the innocent, what if she had a violent husband or other problem that suddenly came up?)

2. She would have been killed in the Convenience store...

3. What should people do on the train? (Edmund Burke said all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.) And how do you correct behavior like that without simply leaving and making it permissible?

4. Any other interesting points you can think of?

I actually just saw the movie earlier today.

1) while I partially understand the law, I agree, it is infringing on the rights of law abiding citizens/gun owners.

2) yup, she would have been killed

3) Personally, being a law abiding gun owner who carries, I would have pulled my gun out before they go close to me. Then, if they persisted still, I would have fired non-fatal shots. If they were to pull a gun and aim it towards me, I would put two in each of thier chests without hesitating.
