I think the prices quoted by the last poster are a little high... Also, the chances of yours being in perfect playing / cosmetic condition without considerable work are slim to none.

I believe these models were quality guitars made in the USA and are collectable though... Epiphone was an American competetor of Gibson back then. Epiphone was later purchased by Gibson and Epiphone is currently the brand name stamped on Gibson's cheaper imported guitars.

Condition is going to have MUCH to do with the price... I would say around $500.00 if the guitar needs some work. Higher (maybe MUCH higher) if it's in perfect playing / cosmetic condition (Not likely with the guitars being that old). You'll probably find that there has been some warpage of the necks and maybe some other problems. If you try to sell these guitars as "pristine" without knowing much about guitars... you'll probably get yourself into some trouble. The higher prices are probably being asked by luthiers who bought them cheap and put considerable work into restoring them.

I might include the Lord of the Rings trilogy in there (Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, Return of the King). The most evil representation there is Sauron who initially is thought to have been distroyed in the First War of the Ring.

The only way to destroy him forever was to toss the One Ring into the fires of Mt. Doom (right in his neighborhood!).

The men who first took the Ring from Sauron had the chance to do so but they failed (though the Elf could have just pushed the whole guy and the Ring in, but that would mean no trilogy). So ages went by and Sauron regained power and started killing again, the hobbit Frodo ended up w/ the Ring and through the trilogy traveled to Mt. Doom to get rid of it. After a fight between he and Gollum, Gollum and the Ring went into the fires and Samwise saved Frodo's butt from cooking. Ta Da.

But along the three books there were many battles and although in them good triumphed, a lot ended up dead too which I would say was a success for Sauron's side up to the final moment went the Ring melted.

However, there were a number of Russian regiments on their way, and if they held out for a few more days, the allies would have had the upper hand.

Napoleon's intelligence seems to have been better. He was able to conceal from the Russians and Austrian the true size of his forces, all the while knowing that reinforcements were on their way for the Russians. Twice on the days leading up to the battle he sent a message to Tsar Alexander suing for peace. Alexander interpretted this as Napoleon showing his weakness and seemed to confirm that it was time to attack. So, ignoring the advice of his generals Alexander led them to disaster. It was all over in less than a day.

Following the defeat the Austrian's surrendered and signed an Armistace with France. Prior to the battle they had already suffered many crushing blows, including the loss of the capital to Napoleon.

I'm talking about Schindler's List for instance. Has anyone seen WWII movies from Poland or Russia? There's pain in those movies. There's truth, anguish and triumph. Spielbergs, well, it was nothing more than a money-maker.

Minority Report-- the emptiest, flashiest 2 hours of my life. I carried nothing out of that movie. Nothing but a feeling that something really sappy just happened to me but thankfully i was so bored that i blocked it out.

Actually, there is a piece of pipe that I will leave on (that connnects to the header-about 12inches in length) just beneath my foot, but I want to take off the entire carbon fiber bit. A good friend of mine who has/rebuilds old muscle cars says it shouldn't do anything to the bike or its performance. Another friend says he thinks it may be bad for the bike. Anyone know for sure?

You could do the Gold Rush, the history of chocolates (my friend's doing that one), Marie Curie (I was thinking about that one for a month, too, before thinking about Challenger), any local newspapers, the Route 66, the Silk Route, any Chinese Dynasties, any European kings/queens, any famous bridges (a guy I know loves bridges), and even technology!!! (but you have to be a LOT more specific) The possibilities are endless.

110 Octane? In a Triumph? I don't think so. Maybe 100 octane, and that's research octane, not (R+M)/2. You should be able to use current 93 Octane premium without a problem. If you find you have knocking, get some toluene from a paint supply store, add a quart per tank. Careful not to get any on your paint.
