Narrative, Expository, or Persuasive???

"These violent delights have violent ends and in the triumph die, like fire and powder, which , as they kiss, consume..." Friar Laurence of Romeo and Juliet had no idea the wisdom his words should have held for the two lovers as they took their marriage vows. His advice could also be given to a number of other characters in the play as they, too, rush to judgment and make unwise decisions. In real life and in literature, people make foolish decisions everyday, but in this story, poor decision making is epidemic. However, some decisions are worse than others. In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the theme of "Only Fools Rush In" is clearly demonstrated by the characters of Romeo, Tybalt, and Lord Capulet

NARRATIVE, EXPOSITORY, or PERSUASIVE?!?!

I vote for expository, but for you to know why, and to be able to explain this if it's necessary, I suggest you put each word into the search box of the link above...

That will tell you in the first paragraph or two exactly how each word applies or doesn't apply to this short essay.

Luck--
