Do you think that God still speaks to people today?

I am in the middle of a really tough problem, a life changer.

Every time I get to praying about it and asking for His help I get the impression of a voice saying to me "I am your champion".

It isn't a loud voice like when God spoke to people in the Bible, but it is clearly in a different tone of voice than the down mood I am having over this problem.

Do you think that I am losing it slowly or is God reassuring me that I will triumph over the troubles that present themselves to me lately?

Most definitely he speaks to his people today. He is unchanging. If he did it then - he will do it now. He is the same today as he has always been. He is our Champion. If we can only trust in him with ALL THINGS.

Non-believers may think you're losing it, but we as believers in Jesus Christ know that you're not. For the unbelievers don't understand-they are blind from the truth. Keep pressing in and never give up hope. For this hope that you have comes from God alone.

You're not losing it. You are experiencing something very intimate between you and God. Sounds to me like you have reached a new level of spiritual growth. Faith is a powerful thing. Keep praying. If it is God's will, he will answer your prayer. If it's not God's will, he will help you get over the problem. Hope this helps. God Bless!
You're not losing it. God speaks to people through their conscious, but it does take some time and effort to blot out all the noise.
