Carseat help?

I have a 2 year old daughter, she is about 36-37 inches tall.

She currently uses a Evenflo Triumph convertible carseat.

I am pregnant and want to use her current carseat for the new baby.

I need a seat that has big height measurements, so she will not outgrow it quickly.

I cannot afford a Britax. I am on a serious budget, I want a good carseat just can't spend a fortune.

She still needs to be in a 5 point harness, but I am open to the idea of a booster (that starts out as a 5 point)

Thanks!

Evenflo makes a convertible one, its' the evenflow tribute 5, only about $60 from babie's r us, I have it. My daughter went from the triumph to this convertible one with a five point harness and it has been great. I really have been happy with Evenflo.

Get a Sunshine Kids Radian 65 or Radian 80. They're more than 100 dollars cheaper than the Britax. Fisher Price makes one with a high weight on it, too.
Im at exactly the same place - and we had the evenflo triumph too, so know that one was great for safety and affordability. Consumer Reports rates the Cosco Alpha Omega/o sp(?) high for this too. We're looking at this one, and right now places like Sears, Target, Penny's, BRU are running baby sales, online too, lots with free shipping. Also do searches for web coupons.
If your budget is way to tight and you really dont have any extra money, you can go down to your childs doctors office and talk with some one about getting a carseat through them... They are safe certified and new.. They make sure that what they give the child will stay with the child as long as it can.... But EVENFLO is what my step kids have, They are a car seat and a booster in one.. All you have to do is take out the straps for the booster and it also has places to hold the seat belt from around the neck...
